I have written several glowing reviews about this product because it was the only product that faded (and in some areas eliminated i.e. my "mustache") my melasma. Yes, it had a gritty texture, and I used my serum to help with that. BUT that I think is what made this product work because it was closer to its purest form. Now it has a creamy texture and doesn't work at all. PLEASE PLEASE bring back the older formula.

So I wrote an initial review on the product saying I really liked it, but only had used it for about a week (because immediately I could see the impact it had on my skin being brighter). Well, I have now gone through over half of the product. I cannot say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. It has nearly removed all of my hyperpigmentation. I didn't have the "easy" one to get rid of. It was on my forehead, cheeks, and worst of all I had the mustache. I had tried everything (except laser and peel I didn't want to do that) and this has practically gotten rid of my hyperpigmentation. You can't see my mustache anymore which was the one area that if nothing else I wanted to be corrected. I just saw my mother after a couple of months and she immediately commented on my skin. If you could only see a before and after picture!!! I use a small amount of this product in the morning. I dab on my forehead, cheeks, nose, upper lip, and chin. Then I dab my regular serum on those same areas and then rub together on my face. I am so glad I found this product. PCAskin please DO NOT ever discontinue this product or change it any way. You will have a customer for life.
I love this product. I have been using C/E product for several years but this advanced formula is really good.
