  Solar Defense tinted has been my sun block and foundation for the entire time I've been using it. The self-adjusting color spheres blend well over my moisturizer and camouflage well. I still use a blemish cover over dark spots once the sun block is applied. It's kept me from burning my face in the sun nicely. I use the size of a dime to cover my face. I tried mixing the plain version of Solar Defense (colorless) to see if I could get the tint to be less for winter, but found the two..tinted and not tint didn't mix well. If they were able to mix well you could control the tint when summer goes into winter.

  My aesthetician turned me on to this. I don’t use a foundation anymore. Now it’s not full coverage so don’t mistake it for that. However, if you have clear skin already, and don’t really have things to cover, you can use this for your foundation. I actually use a luminous primer underneath. This is also beautifully luminous. It has enough tint that it covers the redness in my face. That’s really the only issue I have with my skin. It also doesn’t look white like most zinc based sunscreens do. I apply powder over it. It smells fantastic too, and my friends have borrowed it and love it! Stock up!

  Solar Defense is a nice product - lightweight and effective at preventing skin damage. But I have very pale skin, and the tint is too dark for me. It shows up a bit too bronze-y on me and you can see the line between it and my regular skin tone. Would be great if they made it in a lighter shade.

  I love this product. I used it for 1 year every day. It adjusts to my skin color and tinted it a little, covers small imperfections. I have very sensitive skin. My cheeks and nose have visible vessels. It helps a little to hide my imperfections. My face looks more smooth. It's light. No oily shine. Nice and longlasting product.

  I disagree with all the reviews saying this has no tint. It comes out of the bottle without tint, but adjusts to your skin color. It may not provide enough coverage for some, but it's perfect for evening out skin tone if you like more of a natural look. It is most definitely tinted! Be careful drying your hands after applying bc you will see the tint on your towels. It was this product specifically that got me hooked on the brand in general. I love how light it feels on my skin and how well it protects from the sun. On the days I feel I need extra coverage I mix a drop of liquid cover-up and voila. But, over time I've found I do that less often. Don't need it! Just LOVE THIS STUFF.

  This works fine for sunscreen but there is no tint to it and not recommended if you want to use instead of foundation like other similar products.

  I can't live without this sunscreen. I wear it to work and it evens out my skin tone and I don't even need foundation. I get compliments on my skin too !
